#242: Great American Smoke Out

Wolfie joined CHOICE (Choosing Healthy Options In the College Environment)Peer Health Educators and the American Cancer Society supporting the 37th Great American Smoke Out as they encourage smokers to use November 15th to make a plan to quit smoking. By quitting — even for one day — smokers will be taking an important step towards a healthier life, one that can lead to reducing cancer risk. They will also contribute to decreasing second and third-hand smoking deaths (60,000 deaths a year linked to second hand smoke in the U.S.A.). To learn more, contact CPO Health Education Office via email at Kathleen.Valerio@stonybrook.edu or visit the American Cancer Society at their website.
