#204: Learning from Lynda

The Division of Information and Technology is always looking out for new and exciting opportunities for the campus community to expand their technological skills. Kerrin Perniciaro is a staff member in DoIT and she thinks that a new site called Lynda.com is an awesome new addition. “Stony Brook has acquired a license for e-learning courses through Lynda.com, a service that provides high-quality online video training to all students, faculty, and staff at no cost to the end-user. Anyone with an active Stony Brook NetID is eligible for an account to learn new skills, enhance existing knowledge, and participate in professional development on their own time, at their own pace. Courses are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.”

Head over to stonybrook.edu/lynda and sign on with your NetID and NetID password to access these training videos!
