#139: Helping Hands

Many hands make light work!

A student shared this with us: “Today as I entered my building, West E, I noticed a girl on the staircase with a hand cart of multiple boxes and two packages that had seemingly fallen to the ground. The guy in front of me picked up the boxes for her, and gave them back. She still seemed to be struggling from the weight of the cart, and he asked her if she’d like help. She declined nicely saying “No, they are too heavy!” The guy persisted and she finally allowed him to help her. He was extremely nice, and even let me go ahead of them as they tried to maneuver the staircase. I could tell the girl really appreciated it, and it showed just how AWESOME a helping hand could be!
