#58: Nassau Hall Dance Studios

Stony Brook students are provided with many different options to join and watch the many different Dance groups on campus (Ballroom, Deja Vu etc). But what would they be without a dance studio to practice?

Psychology major Anna K. tells us that “the Dance Studios in Nassau Hall” are AWESOME! They are a little bit of a hike down towards South Campus, but the awesomeness they emanate far outweighs the short bus ride down to Nassau Hall! Nassau Hall is also home to the Center for Dance, Movement and Somatic Learning which houses the Dance Program, Dance Minor and the newly proposed Minor in Somatic Learning. If you enjoy or want to learn more about dance and exactly what “somatic learning” is, check out the center and consider taking a class!
